We are hiring a Biomedical Engineer to join our Remote Area Clinic (RAC) Liaison Office and support the safe operation of medical equipment across our clinics and ambulances in line with JHAH Remote Area Clinic Standards (RACS 2025).
Key Responsibilities
Perform or coordinate acceptance testing before new medical equipment is put into service.
Schedule and carry out preventive maintenance, functional testing, and calibration according to manufacturer instructions and clinic policy.
Troubleshoot equipment faults, remove and tag unsafe equipment, and coordinate repairs and backup arrangements.
Maintain equipment inventories, service records, calibration certificates, and maintenance labels or logs showing completion and next due dates.
Support clinic teams with daily equipment checks and help prepare equipment records for inspections and audits.
Requirements
Valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is mandatory.
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Hands-on experience in medical equipment maintenance, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting.
Experience with emergency equipment such as defibrillators, patient monitors, ECG machines, infusion pumps, and portable suction units is preferred.
