• Review and analyze luxury furniture designs, architectural drawings, specifications, and detailed shop drawings.
• Prepare comprehensive BOQs and detailed cost estimations for bespoke and custom-made furniture.
• Estimate manufacturing, craftsmanship, finishing, upholstery, transportation, and installation costs.
• Evaluate complex furniture designs and determine suitable construction methods and production requirements.
• Coordinate with designers, technical teams, production departments, procurement teams, and suppliers.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from specialized suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare accurate cost breakdowns and commercial proposals for luxury furniture projects.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising design intent, material quality, or craftsmanship.
• Review material specifications, finishes, and technical details to ensure accurate pricing.
• Support the sales and design teams during tendering and client quotation processes.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in estimation within a high-end or luxury furniture manufacturing company.
• Proven experience with bespoke furniture and customized luxury interior projects.
• Excellent knowledge of premium materials, finishes, hardware, and furniture manufacturing techniques.
• Strong ability to interpret furniture shop drawings, technical drawings, and design specifications.
• Experience in calculating material consumption, production costs, labor, and installation expenses.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Experience
• Experience in luxury residential, hospitality, palace, villa, and premium commercial projects.
• Knowledge of international luxury furniture brands, premium hardware, and finishing systems.
• Understanding of bespoke joinery, custom cabinetry, detailed upholstery, and specialized finishing techniques.
• Experience working with premium European materials and suppliers.
• Ability to understand the relationship between design details, craftsmanship, production complexity, and final project costs.
