The scammer asks victims to transfer funds to a foreign bank account in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and possibly other countries.

Please follow these rules to avoid scams.

  • NEVER WIRE FUNDS VIA WESTERN UNION, MONEYGRAM.
  • NEVER WIRE FUNDS TO A FOREIGN BANK. Local authorities at your home or destination may not be able to help you.
  • DO NOT RENT HOUSING OR PURCHASE GOODS SIGHT-UNSEEN.
