**Job Summary:**

Animalia by Yara is seeking a qualified and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive healthcare services for companion animals, while maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice, animal welfare, and client care in accordance with NHRA regulations and the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain.


**Key Responsibilities:

Clinical & Surgical Duties:
- Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures including spaying, neutering, soft tissue surgery, orthopedic procedures, and emergency surgeries.
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop appropriate treatment plans for a wide range of animals.
- Administer vaccinations, microchipping, deworming, and other preventive care services.
- Perform dental procedures including scaling, extractions, and oral health assessments.
- Carry out diagnostic procedures including blood work interpretation, radiography, ultrasonography, and laboratory testing.
- Provide emergency and critical care services as required.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with veterinary pharmacological standards.

**Professional & Clinical Standards:**
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients in the clinic's management system.
- Ensure full compliance with NHRA (National Health Regulatory Authority) standards and Bahrain veterinary regulations.
- Follow proper anesthesia protocols and post-operative care procedures.
- Adhere to infection control, biosecurity, and sterilization protocols.
- Stay updated on current veterinary medical practices, new treatments, and emerging research.

**Client Communication & Care:**
- Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and prognoses clearly and compassionately to pet owners.
- Provide guidance on pet nutrition, behavior, preventive care, and overall wellness.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure trust and repeat business.
- Handle client concerns and complaints professionally.

**Team Collaboration & Leadership:**
- Supervise, train, and mentor veterinary technicians, nurses, and support staff.
- Collaborate with the clinic team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Participate in case discussions and contribute to clinical decision-making.
- Assist in developing clinic protocols, standard operating procedures, and treatment guidelines.

**Administrative & Operational:**
- Maintain inventory of medications, surgical supplies, and equipment in coordination with the clinic manager.
