We are seeking a skilled and reliable steel welder for part-time, ad hoc projects on weekends. Responsibilities:
Performing welding tasks on various steel projects, including frames, car rigs, and repairs to rusted steel joints.
Reading and interpreting blueprints and welding diagrams.
Preparing materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and fitting.
Ensuring welds meet quality standards and project specifications.
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a steel welder with proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding diagrams.
Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Reliable and punctual with excellent attention to detail.
Must have your own welding equipment and tools (preferred).
Experience with simple fabrication builds.
