We are hiring an experienced Odoo Developer for a Saudi Arabia–based e-commerce company specializing in eyewear products and equipment. This is a remote role offering the opportunity to work on a scalable, high-performance e-commerce platform.
Role Overview:
The Odoo Developer will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Odoo ERP modules and e-commerce features. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions while ensuring performance, scalability, and a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Study existing business processes and understand customization requirements
• Develop, customize, and optimize Odoo modules and themes
• Implement third-party integrations, including payment gateways
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Troubleshoot, debug, and provide technical support for Odoo-related issues
• Integrate Odoo with other software applications
• Optimize existing modules for performance and scalability
• Maintain technical documentation and perform unit testing
• Stay updated with Odoo upgrades and implement improvements when required
Required Skills & Experience:
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development and customization
• Strong knowledge of Python, Odoo framework, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, XML, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with Odoo ERP modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Finance
• Understanding of Odoo ORM, business workflows, and UI/UX principles
• Experience in Odoo deployment, upgrades, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with Odoo Enterprise and Odoo.sh is an advantage
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Immediate joiners preferred
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
