An HR Assistant provides essential administrative support to the Human Resources department, handling employee records, recruitment coordination, onboarding, and payroll processing. They act as a primary contact for staff, maintaining confidentiality while managing databases, scheduling, and assisting with HR compliance and policies.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support: Maintain physical and digital employee records (HRIS), process paperwork, and manage databases.
Recruitment Assistance: Post job openings, schedule interviews, and communicate with candidates.
Onboarding/Offboarding: Coordinate new hire orientation, training, and offboarding procedures.
Payroll & Benefits: Assist with payroll data entry, timekeeping, and employee benefit inquiries.
Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for staff queries regarding company policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in HR or administrative roles is often required.
Technology: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and experience with HRIS or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organization: Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle confidential information.
Knowledge: Good understanding of labor laws and HR practices.
Salary BHD180.000 to 200.000
