I am writing to apply for the position of Maintenance Engineer (MEP). I have hands-on experience in operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems in commercial and building facilities.
In HVAC systems, I have worked on Air Handling Units (AHU) including filter replacement, belt alignment, bearing inspection, motor current checking, damper calibration, and chilled water valve operation. I also have experience with DX units (Split & Package AC) including refrigerant charging, compressor troubleshooting, pressure checking, thermostat calibration, and condenser/evaporator coil cleaning.
I have handled chilled water pumps, transfer pumps, booster pumps, and sump pumps, including alignment, seal replacement, vibration monitoring, and motor insulation testing. I am familiar with electric motors, MCC panels, star-delta starters, contactors, overload relays, and basic fault finding in control panels.
In electrical systems, I have experience in DB troubleshooting, cable termination, megger testing, earthing inspection, and lighting/power maintenance works.
In plumbing systems, I have worked on water supply lines (PPR/HDPE/GI), drainage systems, valve replacement, hydro testing, pump pressure setting, and leak rectification works.
I follow preventive maintenance schedules, prepare maintenance reports, and ensure compliance with safety standards. I am confident that my technical and site experience will contribute effectively to your maintenance team.
