Jazaaco Ventures is looking for a detail-oriented and skilled CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery to fabricate high-quality parts, ensuring all outputs meet our strict precision standards and engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation: Set up and operate CNC machines (Mills, Lathes, or Routers) to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling.
Technical Compliance: Read and interpret technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and BOMs (Bill of Materials) to determine machine setups.
Quality Inspection: Use precision measurement tools (Micrometers, Calipers, Gauges) to inspect finished parts and ensure they match design specifications.
Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues to prevent production downtime.
Tooling: Select the correct cutting tools and fixtures for each job, and monitor tool wear to replace components as needed.
Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean and safe workspace, strictly following all industrial safety guidelines and wearing appropriate PPE.
Candidate Requirements
Experience: 2–5 years of experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Technical Skills: * Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and blueprints.
Basic understanding of G-code and M-code is a strong plus.
Experience with various materials (Steel, Aluminum, or Wood, depending on your specific project).
Precision: Exceptional attention to detail and a "zero-error" mindset regarding measurements.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials as required by the production process.
Education: High school diploma or vocational training in machining/mechanical engineering.
