Role Objective
The Sales Manager will be responsible for proactively generating and managing business opportunities, maximizing revenue across rooms, banquets, outlets, and other hotel services. The role focuses on building long-term customer relationships, driving sales performance, enhancing guest experience, and contributing to overall profitability and market growth.

Educational Qualification
• MBA in Sales & Marketing / Hotel Management or equivalent.
Experience
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in hotel sales and marketing.

Areas of Responsibility
1. Financials & Planning
• Achieve room revenue, banquet, outlet, spa, and other revenue targets.
• Maintain EBITDA margins aligned with hotel revenue goals.
• Conduct annual budget planning before the financial year.
• Prepare quarterly and segment-wise sales plans.

2. Internal Processes
• Lead and manage hotel sales operations including reactive and proactive sales.
• Handle account sales, catering sales, business travel, reservations, and destination sales.
• Ensure achievement of revenue targets and department financial performance.
• Conduct regular team meetings to align sales strategies.
• Monitor client engagement and sales performance.
• Coordinate with Finance and Credit teams.
• Analyze market competition for pricing strategies.
• Plan sales blitz activities and review feeder market reports.
• Engage with media partners for brand visibility.

3. Customer Management
• Analyze market trends and customer intelligence to refine sales strategy.
• Build partnerships with local organizations for brand awareness.
• Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.

4. People Management
• Partner with HR for hiring, workforce planning, and onboarding.
• Set departmental goals aligned with hotel strategy.
• Conduct quarterly performance reviews (Q-Chats).
• Manage duty rosters and leave approvals.
• Coach and mentor team members.
• Identify training needs and conduct development programs.
• Promote recognition programs and positive work culture.

5. Audit & Compliance
• Review safety and hygiene audit findings and ensure corrective actions.
• Maintain internal audit checklists as per safety guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to all legal and departmental compliances.

• Identify risks and conduct HIRA (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment).
• Follow hotel safety SOPs and incident management protocols.
