Job Title: PTW Supervisor (Permit to Work Supervisor)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified PTW Supervisor to manage and control the Permit to Work system, ensuring all work activities are conducted safely and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements. The role involves coordinating permits, verifying safety measures, and monitoring high-risk activities on site.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and manage the Permit to Work (PTW) system on site.
Review, approve, and issue work permits for various activities (hot work, confined space, work at height, lifting, excavation, etc.).
Ensure all safety requirements and risk assessments (JSA/JHA) are completed before issuing permits.
Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and HSE teams for safe execution of work.
Verify isolation procedures (LOTO) and ensure proper controls are in place.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with permit conditions.
Monitor ongoing work activities and suspend permits if unsafe conditions arise.
Maintain records of all permits issued, closed, or suspended.
Ensure toolbox talks and safety briefings are conducted before work starts.
Ensure compliance with company policies, client standards, and local regulations.
Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts to management.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
3–7 years of experience in PTW systems, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of PTW procedures, risk assessment, and safety standards.
Certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) preferred.
Familiarity with LOTO, confined space, and hot work procedures.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and enforce safety compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Gulf/Saudi projects.
Knowledge of client-specific PTW systems (e.g., Aramco, SABIC).
First Aid and Fire Safety training certifications.
This is a supplier-based position with a competitive salary package.
Iqama transfer is not available. Contract will be through Ajeer/Kafeel No Objection Letter.
