Responsible for leading and managing end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost control, and full compliance with local regulations. The role requires strong expertise in financial analysis, cost accounting, and ERP systems to support strategic decision-making.
*Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full accounting cycle (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets).
- Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Perform advanced variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
- Monitor and control costs with strong focus on cost accounting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with VAT, ZATCA, and local financial regulations.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure audit readiness.
- Improve accounting processes, controls, and ERP utilization.
- Maintain high standards of documentation, controls, and reporting accuracy.
*Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Certified Management Accountant (CMA) – Mandatory (non-negotiable).
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in accounting, including full-cycle accounting.
- Strong hands-on experience in cost accounting (mandatory).
- Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and closing processes.
- Advanced experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of VAT and ZATCA requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Financial Models).
- Strong analytical thinking with ability to translate numbers into insights.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
