Position Summary: The Warehouse Officer will oversee the efficient management of warehouse operations for pipeline coating materials and equipment. This role includes supervising material handling, stock control, and coordinating shipments with a strong understanding of import/export processes to ensure timely delivery and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Supervise and manage daily warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment.
•
Loading and unloading of equipment to/from job sites.
•
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels; perform periodic stock audits.
•
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with company procedures and timelines.
•
Prepare and verify import/export documentation, customs clearance, and shipping paperwork.
•
Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping agents to ensure timely delivery of materials.
•
Maintain warehouse safety standards and ensure compliance with HSE policies.
•
Organize warehouse layout for optimal storage and easy accessibility of materials.
•
Assist procurement and project teams by ensuring material availability for ongoing projects.
•
Handle shipment discrepancies, damages, or claims efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience:
•
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
•
2–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in construction, industrial, or coating materials.
•
Knowledge of import/export procedures, customs regulations, and shipping documentation.
•
Must know how to drive a forklift.
•
Proficiency in warehouse management software and MS Office.
•
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
