We are looking for an experienced and driven Production Manager to take full operational accountability for our RTE salads and cut fruit production facility in Riyadh. This is a hands-on floor management role covering both the day and night shifts — you will be present at every critical shift transition, holding two shift supervisors accountable for output, GMP, and people performance across a 24-hour operation.
You are the most senior person on the production floor and the direct link between the supervisors and the Head of Operations. Your role is to ensure the production floor operates in full compliance with the standards that Quality Assurance Department set.
What you will be responsible for:
- Receiving the night shift end-of-shift report from the Night Supervisor and verifying the facility is production-ready
- Leading the day shift startup briefing and overseeing all pre-production checks
- Monitoring real-time output, yield, and waste data across both shifts and holding supervisors accountable to targets
- Conducting regular floor walks to verify GMP, allergen control, hygiene, and team performance
- Escalating any product quality concerns to the QC Manager — not making independent quality or hold decisions
- Investigating and resolving line stoppages, deviations, and people issues on the floor
- Reviewing the day shift close with the Day Supervisor and completing handover notes for the night shift
- Working closely with the Operations Coordinator on yield, waste, labour efficiency, and continuous improvement.
What we are looking for:
Minimum 2 years experience managing production in a food manufacturing environment — RTE, high-care, or fresh produce strongly preferred
Solid knowledge of GMP, allergen control, cold chain management, and food safety legislation
Proven track record managing multi-shift teams and holding supervisors accountable
Confident, decisive, and able to make fast sound judgements on the floor
Able to work collaboratively with a QC team without overstepping into quality ownership
Food safety qualification Level 3 minimum — Level 4 desirable.
How to apply:
Please submit your CV to "[email protected]" along with a covering note outlining your experience managing production in a food manufacturing environment. Please specify the type of facility, shift structure, and team size you have managed. Applications without relevant food manufacturing experience will not be considered.
