Role Purpose
Key Activities
• Oversee and manage the security operations and initiatives.
• Responsible for developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and strategies to protect RUA's assets,
projects, employees, and information from potential threats.
• Security Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy aligned with RUA's
goals and objectives. This includes identifying potential security risks and vulnerabilities, conducting risk
assessments, and formulating mitigation plans.
• Policy Development: Create and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with
industry regulations and best practices.
• Regularly review and update policies to address emerging security threats and technologies.
• Security Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day security operations, including physical security, access
control, incident response, and security monitoring. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent
security practices throughout the organization.
• Team Management: Lead and manage a team of security professionals. Provide guidance and mentorship to
develop their skills and expertise in security management.
• Security Awareness and Training: Promote security awareness among employees and projects through training
programs, workshops, and communication campaigns. Educate teams about security best practices, such as data
protection, password management, and social engineering prevention.
• Incident Response and Investigation: Develop and implement an incident response plan to address security
incidents promptly and effectively. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to investigate security breaches, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Vendor and Third-Party Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with security vendors and third-party service providers.
• Conduct due diligence to ensure their compliance with security requirements and standards.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, security, or any other related field
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, out of which 4 years at management level.
• English: proficient, Arabic: working knowledge
Exceptional leadership, communication, budgeting and cost control, relationship management, and organizational skills.
