The Desktop Support Technician provides frontline IT support and maintenance for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripherals. This role ensures end‑users receive timely technical assistance, helping maintain efficient daily IT operations.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Provide technical assistance to end users for hardware, software, and basic network problems.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and related equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with operating systems (primarily Windows) and common business applications.
Support basic network connectivity issues such as LAN and Wi‑Fi.
Perform routine maintenance, system updates, and software installations.
Maintain support logs, system documentation, and inventory of IT assets.
Escalate unresolved or complex issues to senior IT staff or team leads.
Provide both onsite and remote support to users as required.
📌 Requirements
Currently located in Bahrain and available for immediate joining.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred (not always mandatory).
Prior experience in desktop support, helpdesk, or technical support roles is advantageous.
Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and basic networking principles.
Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
⭐ Preferred Skills
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified, or ITIL Foundation.
Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools (common in desktop support roles on Indeed).
