Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Welding Engineer who can perform the following:
Develop, review, and approve Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), PQRs, and related documents
Ensure all welding activities comply with applicable codes and standards (ASME, AWS, API) and client specifications
Provide technical support and guidance on welding processes, materials, and inspection requirements
Monitor welding activities to ensure quality, productivity, and compliance
Coordinate with QC inspectors, NDT teams, and third-party inspection agencies
Review welding records, test results, and inspection reports
Identify welding defects and recommend corrective actions
Ensure compliance with safety standards and project-specific requirements
Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent
IWE (International Welding Engineer) certification – Mandatory
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in welding engineering within the Oil & Gas industry
Experience with Saudi Aramco projects is preferred
Strong knowledge of welding codes, materials, and inspection techniques
Location: Offshore / Project Site
Salary: Negotiable (basic) + overtime as applicable
