Lifting Engineer

A Lifting Engineer is a specialized professional responsible for planning, designing, and supervising heavy lifting operations (cranes, hoists) to ensure structural integrity and safety, particularly in construction and industrial sectors. They calculate load capacities, create lifting plans, and ensure compliance with safety regulations like LOLER, ASME B30.

Key Responsibilities:
Lift Planning: Designing detailed, safe, and efficient lifting plans, including load calculations, rigging arrangements, and site conditions.
Safety Compliance: Ensuring all lifting activities comply with international safety standards and local regulations.
Risk Assessment: Identifying hazards, conducting risk assessments, and conducting inspections of rigging gear and lifting machinery.
Supervision: Coordinating and overseeing crane operators, riggers, and signalers during complex lifts.
Problem Solving: Troubleshooting mechanical or technical issues related to heavy lifting equipment.

Minimum experiences: 5 years
