We are seeking a skilled and certified Crane Operator to safely operate various types of cranes for lifting and moving heavy materials, equipment, and structures on construction sites, shipyards, or marine projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate mobile cranes (truck-mounted, crawler), tower cranes, or overhead cranes as required
Perform pre-operational inspections including cables, hooks, brakes, hydraulics, and load charts
Lift, move, and position materials, equipment, and prefabricated structures according to lift plans
Interpret hand signals, radio communications, and lift plans to execute safe lifts
Calculate load weights and ensure crane capacity is not exceeded
Position crane outriggers and ensure stable ground conditions before lifting
Coordinate with riggers, signalmen, and site supervisors during lifting operations
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of crane; report any mechanical issues
Maintain daily operator logs, lift records, and inspection reports
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company lifting procedures
Participate in toolbox talks and risk assessments before each lift
Secure crane after use and follow lockout/tagout procedures when required
Assist in assembling and disassembling crane components as needed
