🎯 Job Purpose
To ensure all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works are executed in compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, international standards, and quality requirements.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
🔹 Quality Control Execution (Core Role)
Monitor and inspect all MEP activities (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting)
Ensure works comply with approved shop drawings, method statements, and specs
Conduct site inspections and prepare ITRs (Inspection Test Requests)
Coordinate with consultants for inspections and approvals
🔹 Documentation & Compliance
Maintain QA/QC documentation (checklists, reports, NCRs, MIRs)
Review material submittals and ensure compliance before installation
Track and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
🔹 Testing & Commissioning
Supervise testing activities (pressure tests, electrical tests, balancing, etc.)
Ensure proper documentation of test results and approvals
Coordinate with commissioning team
🔹 Coordination
Work closely with site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants
Ensure quality standards are understood and implemented on site
Attend QA/QC and progress meetings
🔹 Continuous Improvement
Identify recurring issues and propose corrective actions
Ensure lessons learned are applied across project phases
📋 Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (or related field)
Experience
5–10 years in MEP QA/QC in construction projects
Experience in hotel / high-rise / large-scale projects preferred
GCC experience (especially KSA) is a strong advantage
Skills
Strong knowledge of MEP systems and international standards
Familiar with ISO standards, ITPs, method statements
Ability to handle inspections independently (no reliance on manager)
Good communication with consultants and project teams
Certifications (Preferred)
ISO 9001 (Quality Management)
CSWIP / QC certifications (advantage)
