RESPONSIBILITY;
•Supervise daily on-site construction activities to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
•Monitor construction progress and ensure alignment with project schedules and milestones.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
•Conduct routine site inspections to evaluate workmanship and identify potential issues.
•Review and verify material submittals and approvals prior to site usage.
•Inspect delivered materials to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
•Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to maintain consistent quality standards.
•Oversee testing of construction materials such as concrete, soil, and asphalt.
•Review laboratory and field test results to ensure compliance with project requirements.
•Maintain daily site reports, progress updates, and inspection records.
•Document and track site activities, including photographic records for reporting purposes.
•Monitor and optimize the use of manpower, materials, and equipment.
•Identify project risks, delays, and constraints, and implement mitigation measures.
•Report site progress, technical issues, and delays to project management.
•Ensure implementation of approved method statements and work procedures.
•Identify non-conformance issues and initiate corrective and preventive actions.
•Supervise and coordinate workforce including laborers, foremen, and subcontractors.
•Ensure proper sequencing of construction activities to avoid conflicts and delays.
•Enforce strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies
•Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks on-site.
•Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
•Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and project teams to resolve technical issues.
•Verify measurements and quantities of completed work for reporting and billing.
•Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking project activities.
•Monitor site productivity and recommend improvements for efficiency.
•Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials.
•Conduct site audits and quality checks to minimize rework and errors.
•Support project close-out activities, including final inspections and documentation.
