The Electrical Technician is responsible for the assembly, wiring, testing, installation, and maintenance of low-voltage power and control panel boards.
The role requires practical knowledge of electrical systems, schematic diagrams, and industrial control components.
Responsibilities :
• Assemble and wire power distribution panels and control panels (PLC, MCC, VFD panels).
• Interpret and work from electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
• Install electrical components such as:
- Circuit breakers (MCB, MCCB, ACB)
- Contactors and relays
- Timers and protection devices
- PLC modules and I/O wiring
• Perform panel internal wiring, cable dressing, ferruling, and labeling according to standards.
• Conduct testing and commissioning, including:
- Continuity tests
- Insulation resistance tests (Megger)
- Functional testing of control circuits
• Troubleshoot faults in power and control circuits and perform corrective maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards
• Coordinate with engineers and supervisors for technical issues and project execution.
• Maintain tools, test instruments, and work area in good condition.
Qualification
• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in panel building, wiring, or industrial electrical work.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Requirements:
Currently residing in Saudi Arabia
Transferable Iqama (ready for immediate transfer)
Relevant work experience in the applied position
