Key Responsibilities
1.Equipment Assembly & Installation
• Assemble and install mechanical components, machinery, and equipment according to engineering specifications, manuals, and technical drawings.
• Ensure proper alignment and calibration of pumps, and other rotary equipment.
2.Routine Maintenance
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of machinery and equipment.
• Conduct inspections of mechanical systems to identify wear, damage, or potential failures.
3.Troubleshooting & Repairs
• Diagnose mechanical issues and identify faults or malfunctions using diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Repair or replace defective parts (e.g., bearings, mechanical seals, valves, pumps) to restore equipment to working order.
• Adjust mechanical components to ensure optimal performance and minimize wear and tear.
4.Safety & Compliance
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures when working with machinery and hazardous materials.
• Participate in safety meetings, risk assessments, and emergency response drills.
• Report safety hazards, near-misses, and incidents to the Maintenance Supervisor.
5.Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inspections.
• Document and report any operational issues or equipment malfunctions.
• Complete work orders and shift reports as required.
6.Quality Control
• Perform quality control checks on repaired or installed equipment to ensure compliance with standards.
• Verify that all work meets engineering specifications and safety requirements.
