Key Responsibilities
Technical Authority: Prepare, review, and approve NDT procedures (including RT, UT, MT, PT, VT, and advanced methods like PAUT/TOFD).
Field Support: Provide high-level technical guidance to on-site Level I & II technicians and resolve complex inspection anomalies.
Quality & Compliance: Audit and sign off on final NDT reports, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance. Act as the primary technical liaison with the client (e.g., Saudi Aramco) and third-party inspectors.
Training & Certification: Administer training, examination, and internal certification programs for the project's NDT personnel.
Technology Innovation: Evaluate and implement advanced NDT technologies (e.g., PAUT, TOFD, CR/DR) to improve inspection efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
Core Certifications (Mandatory):
Valid ASNT Level III or ISO 9712 (PCN) Level III certification in at least RT, UT, MT, and PT. (Certifications in PAUT/TOFD are highly advantageous).
Previous Saudi Aramco approval (with a valid SAP CBT passed / SAP No.) is strongly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of NDT experience in the Oil & Gas, pressure vessel, or pipeline industry, with at least 3 years acting as a Level III Engineer/Supervisor.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
Language: Fluent in English (both written and spoken) with the ability to write rigorous technical reports and communicate effectively with multicultural teams and clients.
Adaptability: Willingness to work under site environmental conditions and live in a project camp infrastructure in Haradh.
