Key areas of responsibility I have successfully delivered on projects for KAFD, SEVEN, GACA, and the Ministry of Finance include:
- Developing and implementing project-specific HSE management systems in compliance with client and international standards.
- Conducting daily site inspections, hazard hunts, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) to identify and mitigate workplace risks.
- Managing Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems for high-risk activities including hot work, confined space entry, working at height, lifting operations, and excavation.
- Delivering safety inductions, daily Toolbox Talks, and specialized training to build workforce competency and promote a proactive safety culture.
- Preparing for and participating in internal and external HSE audits, ensuring timely closure of non-conformances.
- Leading incident and near-miss investigations to determine root causes, implement corrective measures, and report findings to management.
- Developing and testing emergency response plans, including fire drills and first-aid scenarios.
- Maintaining accurate HSE documentation including inspection reports, permits, training records, and performance statistics for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- Acting as the primary on-site HSE liaison with project management, clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Inspecting tools, equipment, scaffolding, and firefighting systems to verify safety and certification prior to use.
I am also proficient in preparing Method Statements (MSRA), Risk Assessments (RA), and all associated safety documentation.
