- Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults in oil & gas heavy equipment.
- Troubleshoot engine control systems, sensors, wiring harnesses, PLCs, and CAN bus systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment electrical systems.
- Use electronic diagnostic tools and software to identify and rectify equipment failures.
- Ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintaining oil & gas heavy equipment.
- Experience with diesel engines, generators, pumps, compressors, and hydraulic equipment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot complex electronic systems.
- Experience with equipment from manufacturers such as CAT, Cummins, NOV, and similar brands is an advantage.
