We are looking for an experienced and skilled Painter to carry out painting, surface preparation, finishing, and maintenance work for construction and building projects. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of different painting techniques, materials, and tools.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks, and applying appropriate primers.
Apply paint, coatings, and finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, metal surfaces, and other areas.
Perform interior and exterior painting works according to project specifications.
Mix and match paints to achieve the required colors and finishes.
Apply primers, undercoats, and finishing coats properly.
Repair damaged or uneven surfaces before painting.
Use brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other painting tools safely and effectively.
Ensure smooth, even, and high-quality finishes.
Protect furniture, flooring, fixtures, and other areas from paint and damage.
Inspect completed work and correct any defects or imperfections.
Maintain painting tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
Follow project specifications, safety procedures, and quality standards.
Coordinate with supervisors and other site workers to complete painting works according to schedule.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Painter in construction, maintenance, or building projects.
Good knowledge of surface preparation and different painting techniques.
Ability to work with various types of paints, primers, coatings, and finishes.
Ability to use painting tools and equipment safely.
Good attention to detail and quality of work.
Physically fit and able to work on construction sites.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be locally available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
Previous Bahrain/GCC construction experience will be an advantage.
