HR Payroll Specialist — TECNO UAE
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the monthly end-to-end payroll process for UAE employees.
• Verify attendance, leave, overtime, allowances, deductions, commissions and other payroll inputs.
• Prepare and process WPS (Wage Protection System) salary files and coordinate salary payments with Finance.
• Calculate annual leave salary, leave encashment, gratuity and End-of-Service Benefits (EOSB) according to UAE Labour Law.
• Process new joiners, salary changes, promotions, increments, transfers and employee exit.
• Prepare final settlements for resigned/terminated employees.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee/payroll records.
• Reconcile payroll reports with Finance and investigate salary discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly payroll reports, headcount reports and payroll-cost analysis.
• Respond to employee questions regarding salaries, deductions, benefits and leave.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, management and external payroll/service providers.
• Ensure payroll activities comply with UAE Labour Law, WPS and company policies.
• Support internal/external audits and payroll documentation.
• Maintain HRIS/payroll-system data and improve payroll processes.

Typical Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Around 3–5+ years of payroll/HR operations experience, preferably UAE experience.
• Strong knowledge of:
o UAE Labour Law
o WPS/SIF payroll processing
o Gratuity/EOSB calculations
o Leave salary and encashment
o Payroll reconciliation
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills — VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas and reporting.
• Experience with HRIS/ERP/payroll systems such as SAP, Oracle or similar.
• Strong numerical and analytical ability.
• High level of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Good English communication skills; Arabic can be an advantage.
